Day 1: Welcome to Chiang Mai Airport
We will wait for you at the Chaing Mai airport and warmly welcome to Joy's House. Learn your first words in Thai, Sawasdee Krub or Sawasdee Kha, enjoy our delicious Thai meals for your dinner and have a good sleep.
Day 2: Market and cooking course (our traditional village)
In the late morning or afternoon, enjoy 1 hour free welcome traditional Thai massage for adult and enjoy your time at the pool. The late of the afternoon, we will start our cooking course at 4.30 p.m. We will guide you to the local village where you will get a local market experience and help us buying herbs, vegetable, and ingredients for cooking. After market experience, we will come back to joy's house and learn how to cook a real Thai dishes with a member of our family. Enjoy dinner together. (Breakfast/Dinner)
Day 3: Temple, Markets and the old city of Chiang Mai
We will guide you to the local interesting places in Chiang Mai city. You will see the markets, the old famous temples and get close with traditional Thai life. Enjoy lunch in a local Thai restaurant. Afternoon, enjoy cruising along Mae Ping River, which is the main river of Chiang Mai city for agriculture and for other purposes such as transportation or watering plants. At the Farmer House, where the boat stopped a boat driver will show you surrounding of their small garden, here you can see plenty of Thai herbs and vegetables. After enjoy tasting organic fruits from Farmer House, we will drive back to joy's house. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) * Wear Flip-flop in this day, will be more comfortable for you, because we will visit many temple and often take off the shoes.
Day 4: Elephant Experience
Elephant Day Start: 9.00-9.30 a.m. Adventure day with the Elephant, and please prepare your clothes which you think ready for getting wet and dirty. Today you will have a lot of fun with the Elephants in beautiful nature camp. Befriend with the elephant, taking care and bathing with Elephant at the pool, clean them and learn how to take care them. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 5: Relax at our beautiful Lake and visit Doi Suthep Temple.
Start at joy’s house: 9:30 a.m. We will drive up to the mountain and visit the most famous temple, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep and worship one of the holy gold, bright pagodas in Chiang Mai city. In the afternoon, relax at the beautiful Lake, where Chiang Mai people are spending their free time with their family and their friends. You will get a beautiful small hut and delicious local dishes for your lunch and if you like, you can swim in the lake too. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 6: Chiang Dao cave and waterfall
Start 8:30 a.m. We will drive directly to the Chiang Dao district and visit Chiang Dao Cave where you can see very beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and beautiful sculptures of Burmese style Buddha statue on the rock. For local Buddhists, the cave is popular for a meditation retreat therefore inside the cave there is a famous Buddhist Monk Statue call "Kruba Srivichai" in a meditation position and another holy reclining Burmese Buddha statue. Exploring the cave, we have to go with an expert local guide from the village and he or she is proud to present everything in the cave. After lunch, we will drive you to a beautiful modern temple, where you can see a temple in a different style than the general temple. This temple is unique from its building style, architecture, and large wooden structure. Inside the temple, there is the largest reclining Buddha in Chiang Mai city. After the temple, we will further to an amazing waterfall, "Bua Thong Waterfall" where you can climbing up and down on it. It has been nicknamed ‘the sticky waterfall’ because the limestone creates enough friction to stop slipping, so making it very easy to climb up the waterfall (with the help of ropes). Day 7: Say Goodbye
After breakfast, you have your free time to relax at the pool or walk through the local village. Say goodbye, we will drive you to the Chiang Mai airport or to any place in Chiang Mai. (Breakfast)
